Since i have not shared pics since March here is a recap of the year. We finished up strong on the oversize on the Willamette. Spring chinook started the first week of April and went well in to June with a mix of summer chinook as well. We had a small keeper season in June as we normally do and it was on fire as usual. Shad showed the last week of May and we proceeded to fill all the freezers for the upcoming oversize fishery. The oversize fishery on the Columbia was the best hands down that i have seen in 25 years. We landed two fish over 12 feet and another dozen 11 footers. The largest fish that i have seen in a long time. This fishery went well in to October. Fall Chinook was on fire from the last week of August through Oct 23. It was a great year! I spent the fall hunting and doing some well deserved family time. Next hot bite is winter keeper sturgeon, oversize and spring chinook starting April 1. Here are a few pics.
Thank you
Charlie Foster
